Restrictions on Shipping Exotic Animal Products to California

Why We Can’t Ship These Products to California
Due to California Penal Code Section 653o, we are prohibited from shipping products made from certain exotic animal materials, including crocodile, alligator, python, and others, to customers in the state of California. This regulation states:

"It is unlawful to import into [California] for commercial purposes, to possess with intent to sell, or to sell within the state, ...any part or product" of a number of animals, including elephant, hippopotamus, python, Teju lizard, Ring lizard, Nile lizard, crocodile, or alligator."

What Are My Options?
If you’ve attempted to purchase an exotic animal product and reside in California, we’re here to help resolve the issue. You can:

  • Receive a store credit code to use on another item.
  • Request a full refund for the item.
