Skip's Western Outfitters Return Policy
At Skip's Western Outfitters, we are committed to providing a smooth and hassle-free return experience for all our customers. Whether you shop online or in-store, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Below, you’ll find detailed information about our return process and guidelines.
1. Return Eligibility
1.1 Timeframe for Returns
Online Purchases: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the order’s fulfillment date.
🎄❄ HOLIDAY RETURNS: Purchases made Online November 1 through December 31 have an extended return period of 90 days from the date purchased. All other terms and conditions of our Return and Exchange Policy apply.🎄❄
In-Store Purchases: Items are eligible for return within 30 days of purchase.
1.2 Condition of Items
Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.
Products must include their original, undamaged packaging, including shoe/boot boxes if applicable.
Original tags must remain attached to the items, if applicable.
Important: Returned products must be in their original condition, unworn, and free from any damage or signs of use. We cannot accept returns of items that show ordinary wear and tear, including boots with scratched outer soles, scuffs, or any other visible signs of use. TIP: We strongly recommend trying on new boots on carpet to avoid scratching or scuffing the outer soles.
1.3 Receipt Requirements
In-store returns require a valid receipt.
Online returns in-store require proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email or packing slip).
Gift purchases must be accompanied by a gift receipt and are eligible only for store credit.
1.4 Final Sale Items
Items marked as “Final Sale” cannot be returned or exchanged.
2. Items Not Eligible for Return
2.1 Used or Damaged Products
Products showing signs of use, wear, or washing.
2.2 Negligence or Abuse
Items damaged due to negligence, abuse, or improper use.
2.3 Missing Packaging or Tags
Items returned without their original packaging or tags.
3. Online Return Process
3.1 Initiating a Return
Visit returns.skipsboots.com to initiate your return. You can generate a return label and select from the following options:
Refund (subject to a $10 return label fee, deducted from your refund).
Store credit (no fee applied).
Exchange for a different item (no fee applied).

3.2 Shipping Guidelines
Properly package returned items to prevent damage during transit.
If using a self-generated label, ensure the method includes tracking and insurance.
Skip's is not responsible for return packages lost in transit.
3.3 Processing Timeline
Once your return is received, our team will begin inspecting the item(s) within 3-5 business days to ensure compliance with our return policy.
After inspection is complete:
Refunds: Refunds will be processed immediately, but please note that it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.
Store Credit: Store credit will be issued and emailed to you within 1 business day after inspection.
Exchanges: Exchanges will be processed and shipped within 2-3 business days after inspection.
If there are any issues with your return (e.g., missing items, damage, or ineligibility), you will be contacted by our Customer Service team.
3.4 Returning Online Purchases In-Store
Online purchases can also be returned at our store locations within the 30-day return window. Please bring your receipt or proof of purchase.
4. In-Store Return Process
4.1 Initiating a Return
Bring the item(s) and receipt to any Skip's Western Outfitters location within 30 days of purchase.
4.2 Options for In-Store Returns
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that refunds are processed immediately, but it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your payment provider.
Gift purchases are eligible only for store credit.
4.3 Gift Cards and Store Credits
Gift cards and store credits are non-refundable.
5. Additional Notes
Should a returned item be deemed ineligible based on this policy, Skip’s Western Outfitters cannot ship the item back to you.
For items missing tags or returned outside the return window, we reserve the right to refuse the return.
Damaged or improperly packaged returns may incur a restocking fee.
